Mike Metz - Hockey Advisor & Player Representative

I believe in leading with honesty and transparency in every interaction—with both players and their families. Building positive relationships, mentoring young athletes, and helping individuals reach their full potential are at the core of my approach.

My hockey journey began in Minnesota, where I played association hockey before moving on to compete at the varsity level for Orono High School. I continued my playing career with a year of Junior A hockey in Canada before choosing to focus on academics. Over the past 15 years, I've remained deeply involved in the game through coaching with USA Hockey, working with players aged 6 to 15. I also served as an assistant coach in the Minnesota Made Choice League for three seasons and continue to stay active as a certified skating coach.

A recent graduate of the Hockey GM & Scouting/Advisor course through Sports Management Worldwide (SMWW), with the goal of earning my NHLPA Agent License to further support players in their careers.

Based in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area, I live with my wife and children. For the past four years, I’ve also experienced Tier 1 hockey from a parent’s perspective, giving me valuable insight into the challenges families face throughout each season.

Ryan Dewulf - Hockey Advisor & Player Representative

As a dedicated hockey professional with a lifelong connection to the game, I bring a well-rounded perspective as a former player, coach, broadcaster, and current advisor. With roots in competitive minor and high school hockey and hands-on experience behind the bench, I understand the game from every angle—on the ice, in the locker room, and from the front office perspective.

Currently a graduate of the Hockey GM & Scouting/Advisor course through Sports Management Worldwide (SMWW), I’m committed to staying at the forefront of player evaluation, team strategy, and career development. My experience working with elite youth programs has allowed me to help shape programs and guide athletes through key stages of their development and help secure a competitive product on the ice.

As a hockey advisor and player development consultant, I support players and coaches alike—providing insights on systems, play structure, and team alignment, especially during critical interview and recruitment periods. I pride myself on being a trusted resource for families, helping players make smart, long-term decisions for their careers.

Off the ice, I’ve built a presence in broadcasting and media, calling live games and producing engaging content that promotes players, sponsors, and organizations alike. This media-savvy approach ensures that every player I work with gets the exposure and visibility they deserve.

Whether it's evaluating talent, advising on development paths, or navigating the business side of hockey, my goal is simple: to support athletes and their families with honest guidance, sharp insight, and a deep passion for the game.

Isaac Beaupre - Hockey Advisor & Player Representative

Originally from Berlin, Vermont, I began my hockey journey playing youth and high school hockey in my hometown. I went on to attend Kimball Union Academy, where I continued to develop my skills at the prep level. From there, I played two seasons of junior hockey in the EJHL, followed by two years of NCAA college hockey before an injury brought my playing career to an early end.

Transitioning into coaching, I have worked with several youth teams in the Portland, Maine area and contributed to top-tier development programs such as Tim Thomas’s Hockey Camps and the CCM High Performance Camp.

Now, I am focused on using my experience and passion for the game to mentor the next generation of players. I am committed to being a trusted resource—on and off the ice—for athletes looking to reach their highest potential.

Amy Ford - Certified Mental Performance Coach and NLP Practitioner

I’ve worked with thousands of athletes to help them get out of their own head and take control of their game.

I’m also a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and compete internationally—but that version of me didn’t always exist.

For years, anxiety ruled my life. I was scared to leave the house. I was stuck in the loop of limiting beliefs that told me I wasn’t strong enough, confident enough, or calm enough to succeed. That mindset kept me playing very small.

Things changed when I started learning how to take control of my mind and my patterns. Once I understood how to shift my inner world, my outer world followed. My confidence grew. My performance leveled up. And I started winning—on and off the mats.

When I began working with hockey players, I realized how badly this mental training was needed in the sport. The pressure from coaches, parents, scouts, agents, and even social media can crush your confidence if you don’t know how to handle it.

That’s why I created FlowState: Unleashed—to give you the tools I wish I had earlier. Tools that help you take control of your thoughts, regulate pressure, and show up powerfully when it matters most.

If you're ready to stop second-guessing yourself and start performing with confidence and clarity, you're in the right place.

What Can I say…but that Amy is Genuinely invested and has real life competitive experience plus the training and ingenuity to assist with improving athletes mindset and provide skills to address doubt/anxiety etc. She is the REAL DEAL! Our son has turned the corner in Jr A hockey since meeting Amy to the tune of realizing almost a 1.5pts/game average after a previous .70/game. He’s grown as a young man, player and team mate improving his 200’ game dramatically! Thanks Amy

Allison Metz - Education and Billet Advisor

I am your typical hockey mom. I have spent many years in the drivers seat carting my kiddos around rink to rink from one state to another. I wanted to be there for everything, but there comes a time when we no longer can. When I knew the time was coming I decided to spend hours upon hours and days upon days doing research about schooling options along with everything necessary to send my child off to live in another state successfully.

I do work a full time job, but this is so much more fun!! I have served on a hockey board for 6 years and held a few different positions on the board. I still give back time to our local association even without our kids here because it’s about the kids. I have also navigated managing Tier 1 teams as well. I understand the back side of the organizations and the business. They aren’t all the same, but they certainly have enough common threads to navigate them successfully.

Let me help guide you and your family with everything I have learned along the way. There is no perfect solution as nothing is ever a one size fits all, but I look forward to working with you and your family to ensure your experience is as smooth as possible in both these categories.
